FAQs

What happens during a Reiki treatment?

Set aside 75 mins for your Reiki treatment. That gives us plenty of time for 60 minutes of Reiki followed by a gentle and healing conversation to integrate the energetic shifts that may have taken place.

You will lay down on a comfortable massage table and rest your eyes. It is perfectly okay to talk during a Reiki treatment, however you will most likely go into a deep state of relaxation.

Where do you offer Reiki?

At this time, I only offer Reiki in-person. I am based in Berlin, near Samariterstraße.

If you are interested in a distance healing please contact me for further details on when this may become available.

Is there anything else I need to know ?

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive form of hands-on healing. It is best to wear comfortable loose clothing and dress warm as you body temperature does drop when entering into such a deep state of relaxation.

It is common to experience pleasant sensations during Reiki, memories or dreams may arise, and feelings of emotional & physical relief.

Origins of Reiki

Reiki was re-discovered by a Japanese scholar and healer, Sensei Mikao Usui (first image) in the late 1800’s. Reiki Jin Kei Do is a form of Reiki healing based on the teachings of Sensei Mikao Usui but later enriched and further developed by the ancient meditation and healing system called Buddho, discovered by the Japanese monk the Venerable Seiji Takamori (third image) after a long search and study in India, Tibet and Nepal. The Buddho system can be considered as one of the original forms of healing from which Reiki Jin Kei Do originated. The words Jin Kei Do mean integrating compassion and wisdom into your daily life using Reiki and meditation as powerful tools of transformation.

I feel so grateful to have discovered, and to have studied Reiki Jin Kei Do, under such a small and profound lineage of teachers. After completing my Level 1 in Australia in 2016, Faye instructed me to wait and integrate the practise in my personal life before Level 2. Which I completed two years later in the UK with one of Faye’s oldest students, Sarah Varela. Since then I have gone on to deepen my ability to channel Reiki, and to share the gift of this incredible healing modality.
